Dont want to claim points for sibling, FSW. What to do?

Hi,

Yes I was specifically asking about the quesion on relative. I have an uncle there.

Should I say NO and provide LOE?

Or

Should I just NO and no need for LOE?

Uncles are not equal to Siblings. The question is asking about a specific person. Also siblings are not equal to cousins.

Does the ask question about a relative (not sibling)? Then, depends how the relative is your uncle. If he is a first-degree relative (your mother or father's brother), then yes, otherwise no.

Yes, hes first degree.

My question is for me it would be tough to get docs so what should I do?

Mention Yes, but in the LOE, mention that you are estranged and arranging documents is hard and don't want to claim points for him (if you are being given points for him being your relative).
 
For relative, I only get 5 eligibility points and not CRS points. I already have more than 67 so I am fine on that part.

If I say yes, it gives me 2 sections to add his documents.

Can i say NO and then just give an LOE in the LOE section that I said NO since i am not claiming points but as full disclosure I do have an uncle living in canada.

You should answer the question truthfullly. (Yes) and then in place of proof of relationship, upload a letter of explanation. If you qualify for the ITA without those points, then they will still approve your application.

It's just a letter in plain English explaining that you don't wish to claim the points and qualify for the ITA without those points. But that you included it in your form in order to be truthful.
 
I had a query.

While answering the eligibility questions while making the Express entry profile, I had claimed 5 points for sibling in Canada with PR (67/100 point eligibility). But later on due to hassle of getting the documents to prove the sibling in Canada with PR, I answered "NO" to the question to not to claim 15 points. And I am planning to give LOE for this.

But will this mismatch create any problem?

Hello everyone! I got an noi from OINP and I am in the same boat as you all. Can someone please review if this LOE is correct.
I plan to do the following

1. Select Yes...Enter the basic details such as name, DOB, place of birth etc.
2. Attach LOE in the relevant section where they ask for family documents.
