Don't know where my passport is

Well,now u have to fix problem,the way you can. Don't think negatively,passport is probably there,not lost. But it is probably somewhere, not in the eye sight of visa officer.

But generally,you did huge mistake in beginning.

I am also in Canada,and Vienna sent me PPR ,first,I gathered information. I called Ottawa and asked them,when they will proceed my passport,since my PR application is finished and I need just stamping the PR visa,they answered very vague,I didnt like the answer,and I decided to send my passport in Vienna.
I sent by Fedex,they received it in 2days,stamped me PR visa,and send passport in 1 day. Only problem was because they sent it to my home country address back,not in Canada. But my mother received it in 4 days from Vienna,and then she sent me with DHL,and I received it in 5days.

So,after PPR,in 10days I had passport in my hands with PRvisa and COPR. And I will have faster if they sent me directly to Canada.

You decided Ottawa,now you have to find way,to make them put effort and find you passport there in office and just stamp you,because your process is finished,not need the wait in any queue.

Can you please tell me how did you call Ottawa, since there is no phone number available? Or you mean the call center? I would really appreciate if you can share, because any number I can call would help me

And that is exactly why I didn't want to send to Vienna - I read somewhere (maybe even your post) that they returned it to your home country, and since Bosnian post has been known to lose mail, too, I didn't wanna gamble with my original passport. Bad luck, that's all...

I called call center,here in Canada.
And my example that they send it to my home country, was mistake.doesn't mean it will happen to u too.
Anyways, call call center and request from them what u sd do next.I don't u ll have any use of contacting Vienna since u sent passport to Ottawa.

Call center here in Canada is of no help. Thanks anyways. We contacted my husband's MP, so they will take it from here. I have no more nerves to call people that have no clue what they're doing :

At least some information!

I contacted my husband's MP (the lady calls them my MP, too, although I am still just a visitor) yeasterday, she called an hour ago In less than 12h she managed to get some information, and at least now I don't have to fear that the file will close. She was the only one showing ACTUAL concern for my passport, and APOLOGIZED to me. It's not even her fault.

Ottawa didn't confirm they have my passport yet, but they told her Vienna is transferring my whole file to Ottawa, and that "someone" worked on my file on December 13th. Hopefully this means they have my passport, because there is no reason to work on my file unless they have it.

She also contacted Canada post again, hoping she will get them going better than we could.

Now everything is in her hands, since she said she will keep contacting all of them for me ;D Will post any additional information.

I will join rhcohen2014 on this: contact your MP if you have a problem to sort out!

She did say not to expect anything soon, because of the whole file transfer and holidays, and she cannot CONFIRM they have my passport, but somehow I feel relieved, if only a little. At least I know we did everything we could.
