Hi, All
I have sponsored my wife. She currently resides in Tanzania and hence her application is being Processed in Nairobi
Here is my time line so far:
Application received in Mississauga: March 31, 2008
Approved to Sponsor on: April 23, 2008
Processing Started in Nairobi on: May 1, 2008
Wife had interview at High Commision on: July 29, 2008
Now at the interview we told them that since applying we had changed her name from Maiden to her Married name and would like that to be her name as she entered Canada.
We were told to send the new passport.
New Passport Sent on: Aug 1, 2008
Today I receive a letter saying that is a CC of a letter sent to my wife, dated Sept 10. It says that she has to update her Schedule 1 form. In the letter they say they have highlighted the sections that need updating.
It also says that we hav 45 days to respond otherwise they will assume we have refused the application.
Now my wife didn't recieve this letter and they didn't CC me the form.
I don't know what to do.
Any advice or help is greatly appreciated.
