Done With IELTS, Docs sent for ECA. What to do next?

Hi,

I have sent my documents to WES yesterday and i believe it will take atleast a month till I get the ECA result.
I have also initiated the process to obtain Work Experience certificate from my previous employer.

What other things can be done now?

I read on the forum that I wait till I receive my ECA before I make the EE profile. I had already started making it like a week back before I read the thread. Will it be a problem?
I have added only my personal details and contact details. Didn't proceed with the educational details since the ECA is pending

Kindly help.

Try to get the documents that don't require validity sorted. Examples of these are:

• Experience letters from previous employers. Make sure they match all the requirements requested by IRCC. You can also ask your previous managers for business cards for extra verification.
• Proof of relationship documents if you have relatives in Canada. Birth certificates, citizenship documents, etc.

You now need to wait for ECA. You can start creating the profile but do not submit it without ECA. As soon as you receive ECA, just update that information and then submit the profile.

Also it would be a good idea to see if you need a PCC from any country other than your current residence or origin. If so, apply for that PCC.

Don't complete your profile before ECA report . Wait for your report then complete your online profile. Because after you obtain ITA , your profile gets locked and you cannot edit. It could cancel your application.

I need to get the PCC only from India where I am currently residing. PCC is to be obtained only after I receive the ITA?

Yes Indian PCC will not take much time so you can wait for the ITA.

The letter is the main thing you need, provided that it has everything IRCC asks for. I attached the following extra documents:
- Payslips for some of the jobs
- Business cards of my managers
- Any promotion letters
- Pages of the employment contract that show salary and benefits
- Extracts of my bank statement from the last 4 years that show when salaries have been credited
