Done Medical month ago, but status still showing Application Received. WHY ?

I am March, 2013 applicant. I have done my medical in mid of Jan, 2014 but my online status on CIC still showing Application Received on March 28th, 2013 . Does this happen to any body else as well ? Please let me know.

Because ECAS is not updated frequently.

This happened with me too. My ECAS changed to in process 2 months after I received MR and RPRF.

I applied in Nov 2012 and we did medicals in April 2013. Our E-CAS still shows Application Received still!! Don't be worried about it. Everyone seems to get different updates/changes. I think they just like to worry the living daylights out of people! lol ;D

Are you sure that results have been uploaded by your doctor? In my case doctor went on a vacation and they uploaded my results 3 weeks after Med was done.
If you are sure, then send an email to CIC and let them know that you have done your med and provide them with whatever proof you have.

First check with your doctor, ask him when was the report submitted to CIC. Most doctors submit with in a week after the medical check up. Some lazy ones take 15-20 days to submit.

I would check with the doctor's office first to see WHEN they actually submitted your medical results and after that, you can contact CIC by phone to and ask if they have any updates regarding your file.

Personally, it took about 10 days before my doctor's office sent my results to CIC and it was done electronically

does this work? normally they don't have insight in your file when calling them. Or am I wrong?

Just send a CSE and they can let you know if they have them or not. They did with me.
