I would recommend that you consult with a good immigration lawyer.
If the domestic violence happened in Canada, then I'm not sure a refugee claim really makes sense. H&C may be the right path instead.

I have applied last year
Got hearing date at June 8 but was postponed since.
There is war in my hometown, and I tried to relocate to different zone but no such law in my country that protects women.
I am not sure why you said about h and c program because gender persecution is the basis for refugee claim as well.( along with religious and political) Just wondering if someone has similar situation and could share experience. It would be so much appreciated!
I may have misunderstood your post. Based on your original post, I understood that you were the victim of domestic violence in Canada. That's why I suggested H&C might be a better option. Good luck with your claim.
Evidence from your home country could make them believe it's truth try to get it. reports from Canada is valid to evident your case also . try to provide dates to synchronize with your case. Try to prepare your story with help of lawyer remember it's your case. Inshallah everything will be easy for you
