Doing LMO with my boss

There's only one approach that's going to work if you want implied status. The LMO application must be submitted before the work permit application is submitted. And the work permit application must reach CIC before your current work permit expires. So you and your employer will have to move incredibly quickly between May 26th and June 1st.
So - that means your work permit application must be received by CIC on or by May 30th since May 31st and June 1st is the weekend.

You can apply online and it will be faster. However, work permit is based on LMO and it takes days to decide esp online.
If they receive and review your application without LMO then you will be rejected.

Hi I'm from philippines, I have an agency who process my Application in canada. I got my positive LMo and Work Visa last December 2013 and according to my agency I just need to wait for my employer to buy me a ticket. Is the hold regarding foreign workers in canada will affect also my Application even if I already signed my contract ang got my Lmo and visa last year before the moratorium appear?
Please enlighten me. I just want to be sure

Yes! I intentionally do that because I'm really confused and really want to be sure about it. For me its a manner of life and death, I gave everything to that Application and to be honest I really need that work badly for my family especially to.my kid. As of now I have no work. I resigned since I got my visa and I never Expect things will go this wat. Still I am hoping that they will give us another chance.

I'm in the same situation, but my case is our LMO is processing for 6 months for now and still waiting. I had to mail my WP application in and just FYI, CIC confirmed that if your LMO still in processing and WP is about expire in 2 weeks you could mail application in, and most important is they count the day you send out! because right now they only process to Feb 2014 application, it will buy your some time! hope this will help you. finger cross.
doesnt really help because i wont even have time to send my LMO papers , and lmo application goes before work permit application so i am messed up . I will have to apply for visitor status and just do some sightseeing with my people until the decision is made

Your employer can give them a call to find out if they need anything else from them....When I called yesterday, they said they are a bit behind but since I was already on the phone, they confirmed everything and job was posted in an hour.
