May I ask you please, for the medical check, should the spouse go ahead and do upfront check using the main applicant's application number and UCI without waiting for CIC to give the list of documents, or he/she should wait till CIC inform them the things to submit.

I have informed CIC of the change 2 weeks ago, haven't heard from them. I wonder if it is okay if my husband books the upfront medical check right now or will need to wait till CIC replies.

An upfront check doesn't need the UCI or application number. That's why it's upfront - you can get it done even before the ITA and that's OK. You can go ahead and get it done.

Even after I marry I would travel alone.

How about I write to CIC regarding the martial status change soon after marriage.

But my concern is if I travel alone even after declaring as Married (though wife wont company me) will my Application get refused ?

I am in a similar situation. My girlfriend is a US citizen and I just got the PPR. We will be getting married next week. Do i need to update cic about the application? We both will be returning back to india and I would never need to sponsor her in the future. Just worried that it will delay my process as my work permit expires in October 2018. Do i need to inform CIC or can I just get married and do my landing process myself as she wont come to canada or will be sponsored ever?

You need to declare your spouse. You are committing misrepresentation if you don't.
