So you aren’t working for a Canadian company at all on your PGWP but full time for a US company? If you aren’t working for a Canadian company while on PGWP then you can count the foreign experience.

Thank you and Yes, that’s correct. I am not claiming a Canadian experience during this time as it is not a Canadian company. Where I am really getting confused is the following. It says that the experience gained outside Canada although it doesn’t specifcally mention about being physically outside.

Do a search in the tool bar for remote work? People claim the experience all the time. You cannot double dip and count Canadian experience at the same time.Do you know anyone who claimed and got accepted?

I was thinking if it will be beneficial to me to gain experience working in an Indian company while staying in Canada. Will it be considered as foreign experience and eligible for foreign skilled workers program?

Hello Everyone, I have a query regarding how to calculate the work experience time-period.
So, I have approx 11 months of experience from India (1-Oct, 2022 to 26-August,2022) in NOC 41402 as a secondary school teacher
And then I started working for a Canadian employer from June, 2024 to present in NOC 41220 as a market researcher. This is a fully remote job.
Now, I was in India for whole 2 months (Nov&Dec,2024) working remotely from India for my Canadian employer.
My query is :
Can I combine 11month of NOC 41402 (teacher) & 2 month of NOC 41220 (market researcher) to claim 1 year worth of CRS points for foreign work experience when applying under CEC category when I complete my 1 year of eligibility for Canadian employer?
