Hello,
I am currently on a pgwp. I have been working for past 11 months with a security company. Its a company that has links with various residential buildings where its security guards work. I am currently a mobile security supervisor under noc 6316. My job duties are to assign duties to guards and patrol all day to see whether they are working properly and also to attend their calls if they have any problems or questions.
My employer is helpful and willing to give a letter. I work 40 hrs per week for 16$ per hour. Now i have a question
I have heard from an unverifiable source that someone's PR under cec was rejected stating by the officer that all the employees of that company work with different clients and there is no single location. My job is to travel on car all day and my company basically take contacts for security so guards work for clients. So my question here is will the reject my PR for this reason.

Note: my company is a medium comany and not very well establisted but it has its office and website.

It doesn't matter, the only thing that matter is the employment verification letter issued by your employer.

But i think there is a condition that the company shall be self dependent. It shouldnt be dependent just on its clients. I mean my security company has work till our clients need us. We dont have our own workplace. So doesnt it disqualify me?

All companies depend on their clients :)

If you are security guard.. what would you do in your own office? Guard yourself?

Makes no sense.. so I'm sure CIC will have no problems with it, provided you have a good employer letter

I think the only potential issue is, if there is no one in your company that actually witnesses the work you do. Of course given the type of work you do, that's completely normal. You supervise others, but who supervises the supervisor? :)

But unless this is directly pointed out in your Letter of Employment, it's unlikely to be an issue.

I am not an expert and may be missing some important points, but who are you paid by? Surely that would be your employer? I do recall earlier on forum a person having a terrible time working for a bank. She was working in the bank, but an employee of a temp agency. I don't know the nickname of the person.

i forgot to mention one more job duty. everyday i have to give a report to my employer about all day. and i am permanently hired by the company. i get proper pay checks with the company name written on it.
so is everything fine? i mean my employer supervises me
