Does work experience should be in the field of study for CEC?
i know it shouldnt matter.But i can see some cases got regected.
If anybody have any information on these kind of cases please post here.

I am little bit tensed.
I have job in IT field but have degree in Electronics.

As long as your employer can make a logical explanation on why he has hired you.

so do you mean they are really considering this particular point while verfying our application.

as far as I know, they do consider it. But I do not think it will be the main reason to reject someone.

I think it generates some "discussion" (or red flag) in one way versus another:

Example: If a PhD Econ graduate claims experience as a cook (I know this is excluded, it's just an illustration) is more acceptable than a graphics design graduate doing portfolio risk management.

Exactly... as long as it makes sense...

Lots of IT guys come from electrical background..... and even from just an engineering background. One fo my coworkers is a Mechanical Engineer, another is a Chemical Engineer and the ydo the same work as I do (I am a Software Engineer).

If they have any doubt, they will either send you a letter or call your employer to verify.

Anywhere on cic its not shown that work experience should be gained form field of study.
So how come news spreaded that cec doesnt need work expereince related to field of study.

^You're not getting it.
Education and other factors are taken within the context of the work experience and other eligibility requirements.
It's not viewed in isolation such that it will result in a rejection on its own (unlike criminal convictions or having HIV which will automatically place one on the rejection list).

Yes, it's not mentioned in the guidelines, but they do consider it, otherwise, what's the use of asking it in the first place? I suppose CIC has seen cases where someone with limited education take advantage of the program by upgrading to a qualified role.

As Jalex pointed out: does everything make sense to this applicant, considering all factors?

it is not a good sign for the application, if all of your other condition looks terrible, they may reject in this way.

if not, I think is ok and really depends the VO is have a good day . when I say other condition, I mean, like work experience hours , salary, .etc.

as I know, if they start question certain case , it means they have to hold a meeting to discuss it, reviewed by several VO.

that's all I know currently.

so buddy, don't worry it , it is just some minor issue as others. it is flexible for VO actually.
