Does Unemployment claims in the past will affect spousal sponsorship?

Hi Guys,

Does claiming of 2 mos. unemployment cheque (due to job lay-off) will affect the sponsor's eligibility to spousal sponsorship? It was only for 2 months in 2013, he got his job back now.

Hope anyone can give advise/ insights.
