I'm submitting my PR application and I'm not sure how I should address the following question: Does "the primary applicant" have a job offer in Canada?
What should my answer be given that:
- I'm currently working in Toronto since late July 2017 on a temporary work permit (LIMA exempt)
- I'm working for the same international company I worked for in the US prior to moving here for one year
- I have a letter of employment from the Canadian firm stating that my employment will continue permanently if I get the PR, subject to my performance and regular business needs
- you have a valid work permit for one of the listed skilled trade occupation and it’s exempt from needing an LMIA, and you:
- are currently working for an employer specified on the work permit
- have one year of full-time work experience (or an equal amount of part-time work) for the employer(s) on your work permit who is making the offer and
- have a valid job offer from that employer for at least one year after we issue your permanent resident visa
