in my opinion, if CIC has provided this facility and its legal so one should not fear while ordering them as u r not doing any thing wrong to be afraid of. As immigration process takes time and one worries about the process they have given an alternative to know you case if you want. So if u order Caips notes and they are informed that one has ordered it. i think there would be nothing harmful. So please go ahead and reduce you anxiety.

VO definitely knows of ordering of CAIPS and it will even reflects on caips as well.

CIC knows whenever a client orders CAIPS notes you have the rigjht to order it but it kind of slow down d processing of your application.

Has no effect on the application. It is just printed off the computer in Ottawa.

Its a separate department who sends you the record.

It doesn't matter who send the copy of CAIPS records. In the system itself all log-ins are recorded and obviously you cannot print them without logging in.
