They will demand we apply as a couple, legally we have to.

Do i just have to pay back her portion or would it count as her being on welfare and cancel her PR.

Please tell me the rule isn't:
People on ODSP can sponsor their spouses
Then you get extra from ODSP it counts as welfare and she loses her PR

It's nothing to do with her PR status. I'm not sure where you got that from. It would just be a matter of paying back any portion paid because of her.
