Hi all,

I always thought the medicals were sent directly from the doctor to the VO, but I thought I read somewhere that the DMP sends all medicals first to Ottawa, and then they are sent to the VO? I can't for the life of me remember where I read that, or if I was dreaming? (wouldn't be too surprising)

Does anyone know?

Thanks!

Ottawa...just had my wife's medical done in Colombia, and the doctor gave us the DHL tracking number...it went to Ottawa. CIC's own medical staff review the medical, then forward it to the Visa Office.

All Out-land medicals go to Ottawa and are entered into the system electronically and the VO accesses them that way...

Actually No they don't. There are actually 8 Regional Immigration Medical Centres, where the DMPs send the results. see: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/publications/dmp-handbook/appendix-01.asp

ahh OK... Doctor said to me when I filling out the appendix C, I asked which VO should I put and she said it doesn't matter they all go to Ottawa, my misunderstanding.... guess in my region they all go to Ottawa...

Thanks all for the info. :)
