Does System Administration comes under the code 2147 - Computer Engineer

Hi Senior members,

I'm planning to apply PR for Canada.

Kindly clear my doubts....

I'm working as a Senior System Administrator in (Windows, VMware & Documentum Administrations).

But my main duties are not fully covered in the code 2147 - Computer Engineer.

Instead, majority of my roles are covered in 2171, 2172, 2175 & 2281 (where 2147 code is menitoned as "Classified Elsewhere" in these codes).

My question is, can I able to apply with the code "2147- Computer Engineer".

I'm not able to attach the NOC 2011 list here due to huge file size. Please find the NOC2011 list in
---www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/Welcome.aspx

Please help me, since I'm in a rush bcoz only 120 seats are available out of 300 positions for this financial year: May 2013- April 2014.

I think it's too late to apply under 2147. CIC is still working on applications received during the first half of June and the count is already 120.

I have sent my application on 1st September and I am expecting iy to reach CIC in a day or two.
Do you think it's too late? Cap has already reached almost 180 and how can I know which month's application they are reviewing right now?
Let me know if there is a thread to follow up.

Does your employer have a standard description for your role? If not then you need to create it - you know what your duties are ...so where's the problem?

I found One 2281 Computer network technicians - But that one not listed under nova scotia PNP Occupation list and moveover this one does include network responsibilities also .

Since you was having same profile , Would you able to recommend me ??
