Does sponsor need to provide bank statement?

For spousal sponsorship, does the sponsor still need to provide bank statement, property under their name, investment, proof of billing etc.?

For background, this is both our fist marriage, no child, sponsor has stable job, provided employment contract, payslip, and the latest Notice of Assessment.

As the sponsor, I simply provided a letter from my employer and my Notice of Assessment for eligibility that I could support my husband.

The only time I used banking info was for proof of relationship, where I supplied a letter from my bank manager and the supporting banking documents he provided for me to use in my application to prove beneficiary and joint account information. Property and proof of billing can be used here too.

Proof of savings would be a good idea.
