Does SOP required for Student visa ?

Hello guy's I didn't find SOP ( Statement of purpose ) in study permit checklist ( SPP ). Do i need attach SOP with my application if Yes Where i can find Form for SOP ? If there is no form then what i need to explain in it ? I will appreciate if someone will explain SOP contents in details.

Not required. but if your previous study doesn't match future one then it is recommended(like passing from business and going for IT etc etc).

I have gap of 1.5 years so SOP required in this case. I know 2 years maximum gap is viable. Do i need to mention what i did in gap duration for 1.5 year.

Each country has its own importance/requirement of sumitting SOP. It will be mentioned in ones country checklist. For my case as per my country's checklist, it's mandatory to submit SOP.

Submit ur SOP ... DO NOT APPLY FILE WITHT SOP !

As it is not in checklist and also 1.5 years gap is viable and your studies match with future one, I do not think it is needed. But rest is up to you.
