What do Canadian's employers think about this school?
Do the school you graduated matters the most when it comes to job hunting in Canada?

I wonder if I am thinking too forward.....

Unless it is a really good one like McGill, UofT, UofBC, UofA, Waterloo, etc. they don't really have an opinion on any in particular.

I'm sure if you were looking for a job in the tech sector and you graduated from Waterloo, you would at least get your resume looked at.

How is the University of Calgary for MSc in Civil Engineering? Could someone give me an idea? I read somewhere it is ranked about 60th in the world. U of A is better (ranked 33rd). I would like to enrol in the MSc program in structural engineering after I land there.

Schools may have some weight when applying for first job but once you are in the job market then education is less important than experience, which is fair.
