Question

Can someone tell me if a 1 year Masters also qualifies for this ?

Can some one tell me how many years of study is 1800 hrs ?

No - Quebec does not offer citizenship to students directly.

To qualify for citizenship, you must first become a PR and must then meet residency obligations. The rules for qualifying for citizenship are the same no matter where you live in Canada.

Family sponsorship through Buffalo can be that fast. Same with London and New Delhi. Then there are places that are much slower. Depends on where you live.

Leon is right (thanks Leon!).

My husband was the one who immigrated to Canada (I was born here). I sponsored him under the spousal immigration class through Buffalo and the process took four months. However as Leon has pointed out, processing times for the spousal class can be quite a bit shorter than the waiting times for other immigration classes.
