Hi...i had a simple question -dont know anybody can answer me for sure or not---doe sthe processing time...specially in case of the initial application depend on the NOC code that you had applied under?

If thats the case then are the more popularor on demand ones (like 0213 or 0111) are given response/processing priority? I have applied under 0632 so was wondering whether it would take more time to get a response than usual...thanks

It should not. It could be that some NOCs are more common at one visa office than others and certain visa offices could be going faster than others. NOCs should not make a difference to timelines - ceteris paribus.

At least CIC hasn't made it public that it is the case.

There is an yearly visa slot for each category i.e. Family Class, FSW etc and under FSW they have NOC specific quota's and each visa office has to main the statistics of that and yes it is not disclosed in public but it is NOC specific looking at the processing of different visa offices from this and other various forum's. I may be wrong but this is my observation.

There are no quota for family class spousal and dependent children. There is no quota by NOC either.

I am not sure about this statement of yours. However, If it was according to the NOC , then I think I should have been a Landed Immigrant by now. (LOL) ;D
As always, PMM is 100% correct. Unless, "it is an inside thing", highly confidential and secret, in which case you would not have known.
