Hello Experts,

I am anticipating to get an ITA around 20-25th Oct 2018 and want to submit my application on 27th Oct 2018.
so in preparation of completing all documents necessary before submitting the application on 27th, I need to have PCC for myself (residing in Canada) and wife (dependent)currently in India , who is travelling to Canada on 23rd Oct.

She is applying PCC in India and hoping to get her PCC by 20th Oct, Please help me to understand whether her PCC would be valid post 23rd as she travels from India to Canada.

  • For the applicant’s current country of residence, the police certificate must have been issued no more than 6 months before the submission of the e-APR.
  • For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the police certificate must have been issued after the last time the applicant stayed in that country for 6 months or more in a row.

Thanks Legalfalcon,

New PCC has to be requested.

That PCC for your wife, will work.

Thanks Preet , but now I am confused. As per Legalfalcon it would not work.
I will wait for other folks to say.

pcc will not work. It's dated 15th and she left the country on 19th so there is a 4 day gap. Pcc must be dated after she left the country.
Get it from an embassy.
