Hello, I am planning to apply for a student visa. I am eligible for STUDENT DIRECT STREAM. However, last year in Feb 2020, I visited Turkey for an internship. The initial internship duration was 84 days. (till 10th March 2020). Unfortunately due to covid lockdown, all flight was restricted and I unable to come back to my country India. Once some of the flights started in some part of the world, I request my embassy and a connecting flight was arranged. I was finally able to come back in September 2020. Turkish airport authority allowed me to leave the country without any objection. Will this overstay affect my student visa application for Canada?
Does Overstaying due to covid-19 in other country effect my Canadian visa application?

That will not be an issue, just provide a letter of explanation why you overstayed while filing your application.

I have one another concern about past refusals.
In 2019, I applied for temporary visitor visa to attend internship in one of the University in Canada. Unfortunately my initial visa application was refused.However, I applied immediately with all clarification and required documents, and I have been granted multiple-entry visa under wx-1 category..
Does this past refusal will affect my student visa application?
