does overstay in usa affects canadian visa process

hi i have overstayed in usa for three years after my J1 visa expired , now iam in my home country and i wish to try workpermit or immigration to canada is it possible for me to do that please could someone help me in this

Different country has different jurisdiction...do not think that canadian application will be impacted..

cic will ask for fbi clearance certificate.if u r not got arrested during that time, u will get no arrest record from fbi.give that to the cic and u will be ok

It is the serious point to consider (over stay) during Security Check/ Criminality Check by CHC.

my FBI PCC showed arrest by arrest due to vis overstay, any chance ?
