Can any expert guide me here whether one needs to be employed currently for creating express entry profile and entering in pool? I was working till mid november 2017 and since then not working and studying on my own for upgrading skills, but want to make express entry profile and enter into the pool, if any one can guide me what to do,

Not necessary to be employed currently to apply for PR. You can go ahead and create your profile.

Thanks Navin for your prompt reply, but i was wondering incase if i dont get a job at earliest though i have 5.4 years of software testing experience and incase if for example my CRS score is above 440 , will I still be selected for receiving an ITA in my case of being unemployed?

Your current employment status has no impact on ITA. You will get it if your CRS is greater than draw day CRS.

Employed or unemployed has no affect on pr processing. All that matters is you have 3 yrs exp in the past 10 yrs to get max points.

i was unemployed (and still am) when i applied. no issue

Thankyou every one for your answers above, now my next question is my IELTS score card already expired last december, and I am yet to write my test in december, while creating my profile wont the system will ask for the IELTS score to calcualte exact CRS score...?
