Hi All,

I am a biotechnology engineer though I work as system auditor ( NOC 2171)and have exp of 3.5 yrs. I understand the under employer requirements of NOC 2171 , its mentioned that I should have a relevant degree in Computer Science or Masters in Business Administration.
I do not have a JOB currently in Canada. Will I be eligible to apply under FSWP - EE? My consultant says , even if I get a ITA , it will be later rejected by CIC on the basis of education mismatch?

What are my chances of getting ITA and will this issue hinder me later ?

PS: I have given my IELTS - CLB 9 score and my ECA is verified too and valid.

For FSW I guess your consultant is right. CEC do not require education match

Does that mean I can remain in express entry pool but not be eligible for Skilled Immigration ?

Is there a way out? Please help.

NOCs are written by a different governmental department for a different purpose. CIC just makes use of them. "Education requirements" only apply to regulated occupations (e.g. doctors, nurses...).

So go ahead and apply. Just remember, you can be accepted into the pool of applicants, but not get an invitation to apply.

As you clearly mentioned , I may not get an ITA from Canada CIC but if I get a job in Canada, will I get an ITA then?

Does any kind of certification in NOC code substitude the requirement of relevant education?

PS: I work for a reputed MNC that has strong presence world-wide including Canada.
