Does Name Spilt may lead to Rejection

Hello Experts - Today , I observed that in my Indian passport my name is just in Given Name ( Rohan Kumar Gupta) .
My SURNAME is Empty ...........

- While filling the form it says put your name exactly as shown in your passport ( What should I do here ? )

- Is this naming spilt may lead to rejection ( Does any one face this before ? )

Pls. help me here.

Perfect problem Exactly the same as mine.
Enter your Full Name as Given Name. Leave the Surname field blank in all forms.
Submit a covering letter with your application explaining your situation.

This has gone well with my application and got my AOR as well (just to give you some confidence).

This is a common issue in Passport naming standards. I personally went by Canadian documents naming standards and dint not wanted to change Canadian records. Since at the first place, all my Canadian documents were issues using my lastname/sirname in actualy lastname/sirname field, I filled all forms in the same manner. Got my AOR with full name as listed on passport (FIRSTNAME LASTNAME) and working fine to check online status. I belive it does not matter because a lot of people has same concern.

There is no specific format for the covering letter. I had about 03 issues that I had to throw light on, so listed them one by one.

I have already shared these in my earlier posts. Just to reiterate.

(1) Passport does not have Surname. It is blank.
(2) Affidavit submitted in lieu of Birth Certificate.
(3) No Duties and Responsibilities listed by Employer in the Reference Letter. Employer refusal on the subject - email attached. It reads -

The only documentation we provide is the standard salary letter. No other documentation is provided. We will generate the letter for you and it will come to you in soft copy. No further changes can be made to the salary letter. Please ensure you are not asking anybody else on your account or project team to be signing or providing any further documentation other than what we are providing you in the salary letter - as this is the only official documentation we provide which should be sufficient for any leases, loans, provincial healthcare or similar requests.

I have the same problem. The name in my passport is mentioned in Given Name whereas in Canadian documents full name is mentioned in the last name. In which format the name should be written in the form?

Write your full name in Family Name column. And leave the Given Name field blank in all forms.
CIC uses Family Name (not Given Name) as the unique identifier in the process.

I had the same situation. Just on safe side i went to my embassy and get first and last name saperated? they did it in 7 days?

The only issue is now , In My IELTS Score cards , I have seperated LAST NAME and GIVEN NAME....... ( SO its not matching with my passport)
I think this should not be problem ........
