Does my spouse also require to take IELTS exam?

I am applying FSWP this May 2013. I would like to know if my spouse would also need to take IELTS exam for the language proficiency? Or just showing the proof of the # of work experience in US and education in India would suffice?

If you want the points, your spouse has to take IELTS as well.

your spouse should score at-least 6 bands in each module and this will give your 6 points(thats the max).
