Hello all!
I hope you can help me.
My highest form of qualification is from Coventry University, UK in Industrial Product Design (MDes Industrial Product Design). I only got 1 degree, which was a 4 year course (I had the option to opt out and get the bachelors in my 3rd year).
Now, when I try to punch it into the WES system, it's not there on the list, and brings it down to a 4 year bachelor degree. Everywhere that I do a
search online it says it qualifies as a masters degree:
A Master of Design (MDes, M.Des. or M.Design) is a postgraduate academic master degree in the field of Design awarded by several academic institutions around the world. The degree level has different equivalencies; some MDes are equivalent to Master of Fine Arts and others to a Master of Arts or Master of Science postgraduate degree in alternative disciplines. It often follows a Bachelor of Design degree and requires around two years of study & research in design. (Wikipedia)
Just wanted to know if anyone out there knew about this or was in the same situation as I'm in?
Thanks!
Naddy
