Hi,

I am wonder does points over 67 help in accepting the application?
I can get the 67 myself and I have the choice to get more points if I let my spouse take English. but I am not sure if this will help in accepting the application or 67 and above all the same?

Thanks in advance

No - it just means that you're eligible for this part of the requirement. 68 is the same as a 86.

Even I had the same query, makes sense that for FSW higher points should not make a difference. This may be important for EOI 2015

But i have a suggestion here .........some time visa officer calculated points may different from you calculation and as you are telling that you got 67 it mean you on edge .........here is my advice to ask your spouse appear for IELTS ........I have seen a case previously man calculated 67 points but visa officer award him 65 .......now as you wish ..........

Completely agree with Awai Ali, its better to have more points in case the VO does not agree with your assessment of points to be on safer side. 67 is a qualifying so better calculate +/- 5 points to be on safer side.

I also agree its safe to have extra 5 points to be on safe side.
