Does leaving & re-entering Canada reset my 6 months?

Hello All:
I'm a US citizen - and eligible to stay 6 months each time I visit Canada. I've been here for 3 months and want to stay for 6 more months. I'll be going back to the USA for 3 days this weekend. Is that long enough to restart my 6 month automatic visa upon re-entering next week? In other words - when I come back through customs next week, will I be able to stay an additional 6 months from that date?
Thanks for the help.

It's impossible to say for sure. That decision is up to the individual immigration officer you encounter when you re-enter Canada. Chances are you will be given an additional six months. But it's also possible you might be given less.

I guess it does because i know a person from spain that for the last two years is being reentering Canada every six month to work here for cash and immigration officers never say anything. Immigration Canada dont care!! I mean any body can come here for six month work for cash, leave for two weeks and then come back again!.
This is the liberal agenda
