Does job title need to match with roles/responsibilities

Hello, with a past employer, I have worked in customer support and after some time, I got internal opportunity to work with another team involving writing SQL queries and related Software development. I have also worked as acting Team Leader/Supervisor for junior resources too at some point in that time.

The HR of that company said he can't get the roles/responsibilities printed on company letter head. But, my immediate supervisor who is still working in the company has agreed to provide the roles/responsibilities in Software Development on a plain paper. I can even attach his ID card too.

My concern is that the job title shows "Customer Service Representative" in my Offer letter, Relieving letter and Payslips for that employer.

I'm planning to add this experience under NOC Code 2173(Software Engineers and designers). I'm worried if the job title showing as "Customer Service Representative" in the employment documents creates any problem.

Is there any thing extra that I can do to improve my chances of not getting rejected. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
My job title is Software Engineer but the roles and responsibilities are related to Aerospace. I choose the Aerospace NOC since my education is in that and so was my past experience. I believe the agents don't look at the designation but the exact roles and responsibilities that you did - which matches with the NOC that you selected.

Just in case, could you please let me know what documents you submitted to prove your roles and responsibilities. My company HR said, he can't provide the roles and responsibilities document apart from the usual format relieving letter and pay slips. Can we get a affidavit/notary with roles and responsibilities. Will that work?

I was able to provide the reference letter with the HR's approval and letter head for both previous and current organisation.
I believe your manager/team leader can also approve the roles and responsibilities (either signing the letter or perhaps an email confirmation).
You can mention in LOE that the HR in your org do not provide these details and attach the reference letter signed by your manager or a team lead instead.
