Hi bhoomi,

You can download the application form from the below URL:

http ://smu.edu.in/content/dam/manipal/smu/documents/smit%20exam/Transcripts.pdf

And follow the instructions, you will get the transcripts in 20 days from the day you posted your application to SMU. You have to send them attested copies of all the memos and degree certificate with DD of amount 100 * number of certificate.

Hi Ganesh , need one help from you. Did you sent Academic records form enclosed with transcripts. And also how did you attested the marksheets ? self or from gazetted officer ? and you did ECA for MBA only or for Bachelor's too , if bachelor's what was the degree ?

IQAS has recognized my degree from SMU MBA Distance completed in 2015 in their ECA. I got a soft copy of ECA in an email a day back. Though they didnt mention any Fedex Courier service number, they mentioned that Ill receive it the ECA courier soon.

Was you MBA degree a distance education? Was it for 2 yrs or 3 yrs?

That is your personal choice. At the moment IQAS is processing documents quicker than ICAS.

I'm in the same boat as well. I sent my marksheets to SMU for the original transcripts to send to IQAS. How did you check on the status of whether they have sent the documents to IQAS? I tried emailing them but they haven't responded and the number you listed doesn't seem to be working.

I got SMU transcripts in sealed envelop, they were very fast and professional. But I realized that my CRS score is merely 360, I should have checked my score before going ahead and wasting time and money. It seems having a MS degree, more than 10 yrs of exp is of no good for express entry profile.
