Does inland application require PPR?

Nope. PPR is to attach a visitor visa if you require one to enter (so you can land in Canada) or if you're from a Visa-exempt country they use it to verify your information so it's correct on your COPR. If you're already in Canada, you presumably have any necessary visitor visas so there's nothing for them to need to attach (plus you're already in Canada so it's moot anyway), and you get your COPR at your landing interview to which you have to bring your passport, so no need for them to verify it in advance

I know when requested PPR, you should have at least 6 months left on your passport's expiry date.


So, inland applicants do not have to worry about that since they won't get PPR request?

Technically no, however that's not to say they wouldn't have a problem with it at the landing interview.
