Hi Guys,
My employer is working on my work permits under the provincial nomination program, but left it too late and now my current work permit is expiring.
I am currently working on the Working Holiday Visa. I know that this visa is non-extendable, BUT, if I apply for this visa to be extended, can I continue to work on this visa under implied status, even though I know it will be denied? In the time it will take for the response to come through, the permits for the PNP should be through.
I do not want to do anything illegal, but at the same time, I am just trying to figure out a way to continue working so I do not trouble my employers further. They are already having to train new people to take my spot who are not ready for that responsibility.
There seem to be some experts on this forum so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
J
