Does Immigration Canada accept police certificate from 5 months ago?

Hello,

My wife did a background check and obtained her police certificates about 5 months ago, I will be sending her application for process very soon and when they ask me for her police certificate and background check info, can I still send the one we did 5 months ago or does she have to get a new one again??

Does anyone out there know anything about this??

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can probably reuse it, if she hasn't been in that country since. That said, they might ask for a more recent one...

Was about to ask the same thing, ours is now expired as its dated May 2016 but I just sent out our package March 13 and should have been issued 6 months before you apply. I've looked around the forum but haven't ran across anyone with similar experiences yet.
