Hi

I got English evaluation / Language Assessment done from YMCA & got 6 Band. Do I need to take any Classes to apply for Citizenship or will this assessment result enough for Language Proof?

Thanks

The CLB scores by the YMCA are not acceptable proof even if you score over 10. LINC certificate, saying you attended the classes and then got an acceptable CLB score (4.0?! i think) is a valid proof (I have no idea why they don't accept a score well over 4.0 by CLB).
If you have not attended post secondary schooling in the official languages then the best bet is to have a third party test score (IELTS general or CELPIP L/S)

Evaluations done by YMCA are not approved by CIC for official documentations. You need to complete an actual course that proved your English / French Proficiency Level to be at minimum CLB level 4.

Based on what you wrote, the answer is yes

How about test from LARC? Or an IELTS academic?
