Does having defendants slow apps down?

Hi guys
I'm an Aussie october app waiting for the ever elusive aor. Lol.
But it seems no one else in the group has kids to take with them .. so I thought I'd ask here.. how many are being sponsored with kids? And how does kids slow down the application? Should I renew my current lease here in aussie or do I still have a minute chance this thing will be done in the next 6 or so months???

I have dependents as well but it hasn't slowed down our inland processing. Our timelines are similar to others. However, I have asked the same question in the October Inland group because getting the medicals done for 3 kids living in a different country isn't all that easy.

Yes, " Defendents " are usually good for the case !
But I think dependents will slow things down a little due to the extra processing time.
Some of it may be to do with the CIC processing centre location or just luck?
Time to buy lottery tickets for the defendents......Ha

I looked at the place that does medicals here even though I have nothing from cic yet.. first appointment they have is March ffs
