I am in Canada on a 2 year work permit, from the UK. I am hoping to apply for PR via CEC EE. I will have a total of 1 year work experience in Canada (in professional jobs) in January 2019. However, 3.5 months of my one year work experience here I was a contractor for a large event company in north vancouver. I had set hours (8.30am-5pm), I went to the office every day, I was paid by the hour, I never took time off, it was very much an employer / employee relationship. I did not have another job on the side. It was like I was full time, I was just called a contractor and do my own taxes. Can this 3.5 months count towards my 1 year work experience if I apply CEC EE? I am hoping it does.
