Does entering Canada without the right documents make me a designated foreign national when I seek asylum

I am under severe threats from a secret fraternity with wide connections everywhere in my country Nigeria, they have been frustrating my every endeavor for years, they want me in their fraternity because I decamped when I became a Christian. They have not rested in their pursuit to see me return to the fraternity and
I have been the object of covert threats of different kinds to my life.

My life is constantly plagued by the fear of the unknown, I have been told numerous times that I will die if choose to follow the path I've chosen.

Please show mercy, my only way of surviving their threats and possible attack is to leave the country in secret since they are everywhere and may frustrate my attempt to leave if I follow due process. So my question is what are my chances of getting protection if I enter Canada illegally because my life depends on it. And secondly; Does entering Canada without proper documentation make me a designated foreign national when I subsequently apply for asylum, does it mediate against my getting refugee protection.

If you have a strong claim, entering on fake documents/illegally will not by itself be a reason for denial. However, faking documents to enter Canada will go to lessening your credibility, which will affect your claim.

It all depends on the individual circumstances of your refugee claim. There are many cases of people being denied asylum because they entered on fake documents. However, there are also cases where individuals who entered on fake documents were granted asylum.

If you have a genuine fear of persecution based on your religion, and can credibly and reasonably prove this, you can get refugee status.
