Hello,

This will have no bearing on PR status.

If either governement looked at anyone's income, it would be the Canadian government looking at your husband's. But even that will not be a problem, as spouses do not have to meet the low income cut-off threshold.

I would be more concerned about you losing your US benefits once you are in Canada.

But the fact that I have been disabled means I have no work experiance, and that s a must, no?

Hello,

Not for spousal sponsorship.

For spousal sponsorship, they don't look at your langauge skills, the money you are bringing or your work experience. The excessive demand requirement on health services is also waived.

Spousal sponsorship is a whole different ball game than the skilled worker category.

You will be fine Apply, you might want to keep your US status too so you keep getting the benefits cause Canada will not give it to you.Unless of course your husband makes enought to support without yours, but as for anything else income, work experience, has nothing to do with the family class. The biggest thing you have to worry about is supplying as much proof as you can that your relationship is true love and not for status.
Check out the family class requirements for te list of things that will make you inelligable.

I am not interested in money and my fiance will be making enough for us both.

I met him last Feb, on a vacation to BC, I returned for 4 months to date him, then home here for 6 and back for 4(living on our own together in BC). we were engaged on Jan 6th,2010. We can get friends and family to attest to our love and devotion.

Thank you, big relief :)
