Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi All,

Ooops.. I had asked this question in my first Post, But I need to be more detailed this time.

My Hubby is a manager in a Pharma Company as Clinical Reasearch Manager.Does he qualify under NOC 0311( Manager health care).Does Clinical research (Pharma) comes under Health care?
Any one in the same boat?

Pls suggest.

Cheers!!

If your job duties match the NOC duties then you can. This NOC also requires post graduate education.

Tx..

My OH does have Masters in Bio-Tech and he does have managerial role in the health care/Pharma. But I need to know specifically about Clinical research( part of health care) If anyone has applied under this particular category.

I am in the same NOC. As far as i know if you supervise doctors and any healthcare facility and manage its affairs like budgeting, hiring and dealings with other organisations and media, you are eligible.

Main duties are meetings docs for patients enrollment, budgeting the proj for the Clinical research, protocols, ethics committee, data management and lots more.

.. No worries at all... I am a manager in IT( NOC 0213) so I can apply myself as Primary applicant...WE have an Australian PR with me as Primary applicant. So , Now for canada I wanted my OH to be Primary applicant. Lets see... In the course of time NOC sees some chnages!!!

0311 has to manage some health care facility. Is your husband a medical graduate. Look at all the possible interpretations of the NOC, including 'mentioned elsewhere' NOC's. They might add to the scope.

My OH is a Mastres in Bio-Technology... He is majorly into Clinical research and lots of Job opps in canada for clinical research( we have done some survey, but unless we stay in Canada , it quite difficult to grab one from the UK) .... there are jobs in Canada for Clinical research, But I dont find it on NOC.. Quite Strange NOC!!!! :)

Hi,

Even I am struggling to get a code for Clinical Data management. Could you let me know if you were able to get any? I checked 0311 it does not cover the job responsibilities for Clinical research personnel :(.

Can you mention your current job duties briefly and your title (Clincal research associate, site coordinator et.,). That will help determine if you are elgible or not

try 0212 - wierd group...

http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/ViewAllTitlesKeyword.aspx?val=0&val1=0212&val11=research+manager&val12=0&val13=0&val14=&val15=0&val16=0

or

4165 includes clinical research associate and manager - one of the listed "main duties" is
Maintain, update and manage health information databases

http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/ProfileKeyword.aspx?val=4&val1=4165&val11=research+manager&val12=0&val13=0&val14=&val15=0&val16=0
