Does civil marriage count for FSWP?

Hello everyone,
I'm an accountant from Egypt. I'm applying for the FSWP as a principal applicant and I want to add my partner to my application, but I don know't if I should add him as my common law partner or as my husband!!! I know it sounds strange and weird, but the thing is we're actually married, what so called CIVIL MARRIAGE.
It's simply a marriage but not an official one. I mean we can use it for all purposes but we can't certify it by the government. To explain more, we hired a lawyer who wrote it for us. Then we both, me and my partner, signed it plus the two witnesses.
My question is, should I add him as my husband or a common law partner? I mean, would they accept this uncertified civil marriage? And if not, can I at least use it as a proof of our common law partnership?
Thanks so much for your help

If you are married

You can sponsor the person as your spouse if your marriage is a legally valid civil marriage.

If your spouse is of the:
• opposite sex and your marriage took place outside Canada, the marriage must be valid both under the laws of the jurisdiction where it took place and under Canadian law;
• same sex, the marriage will be recognized for immigration purposes, where the marriage: 1. was legally performed in Canada, or
2. if performed outside of Canada, the marriage must be legally recognized according to both the law of the place where the marriage occurred and under Canadian law.

If your marriage is illegal where it occurred, or if the laws of that place do not allow you to get married (for example, you are in a same-sex relationship and your country of origin does not allow same-sex marriage), CIC will not recognize your relationship as a marriage.

you can not call it a civil marriage. Because as per civil marriage definition " A civil marriage is one where the marriage ceremony has a government or civil official perform the ceremony."

A civil marriage is a wedding that takes place without any religious affiliation and meets the legal requirements of the locale.

Thank you for your reply.
It's called ORFI marriage.
It's legal here in Egypt for all purposes, otherwise it won't be written by a lawyer, but it can't be certified.
Anyway, what do you think I should do?
Thanks

bro..... not sure about it honestly, but seek your lawyer advise. If you want to try, get this Urfi marriage paper with witnesses signature attested/notarized & send with your application, supported by any ceremony pics or relevant evidence to strengthen your claim.
