Hello everyone,
I'm an accountant from Egypt. I'm applying for the FSWP as a principal applicant and I want to add my partner to my application, but I don know't if I should add him as my common law partner or as my husband!!! I know it sounds strange and weird, but the thing is we're actually married, what so called CIVIL MARRIAGE.
It's simply a marriage but not an official one. I mean we can use it for all purposes but we can't certify it by the government. To explain more, we hired a lawyer who wrote it for us. Then we both, me and my partner, signed it plus the two witnesses.
My question is, should I add him as my husband or a common law partner? I mean, would they accept this uncertified civil marriage? And if not, can I at least use it as a proof of our common law partnership?
Thanks so much for your help
