You can only do what is in your power to do. If you don't have any physical proof today then that's unfortunate, but I wouldn't be surprised if CIC at least try and verify some of the information you've told them, like whether the company you're referring to even existed and perhaps try and contact some of the former directors. I would just try and dig up any supporting evidence you can. For example; your employment contract, company letters addressed to you as an employee, and if all else fails, maybe go into your bank and get a statement that includes a payment from the company? If you don't have the documents then there's nothing you can do about that, but CIC will want to see you've at least attempted to support your claim with real physical evidence.hajihosseinlu said:This a great topic!
I have the same concern as well.
My employer does not speak English, but my immediate supervisor knows a little bit of English i.e. can verify dates, salary and maybe duties in English. I worked there 5 years ago, I have not been in touch with them since then.
The company I worked for, they do not have a website. They were only 4 people at the time working there and that company is not active anymore. Same people working under a different name now. Is that an issue?
I am not concern about their answers and they can give me good feedback as they were happy with my performance. The only thing I could ask them now if I could get in touch with them, is to tell them to be prepared if somebody calls them. Is that enough?
Is pay stub necessary!? I worked there 5 years ago and I don't have pay stub?
What else should I be paying more attention to!?
Cheers,
Amin
