Does CIC send everything back?

After approval or non approval of a sponsorship will CIC send everything back? I am sending pictures which I wanted to know if i would get back and also original proofs of Marriage certificate.

Generally, only official documents that IRCC requires are returned after the process. Pictures will not be returned.

I'm from Vietnam, and in my case, returned everything, including pictures.

I did not send Original Marriage Certificate to CIC and CIC did state unless they stated Original require otherwise just submit photocopies as they do not return them. I just submit colour photocopy. I stick a 3M Post it note on the photo envelope to inform CIC if they could return me all my photos once they have complete the application process.

My PR application is now in VO and while I exchange some email communications with VO, they informed me that they had mailed out my photos/proof of relationship to me by registered mail.

If you have inform them by putting a note on the application that you will like to have the photos back, they will return you.
