Does CIC ask for updated information?

Hi,

Has CIC asked anyone to update their information/details after they submit their application? I mean it takes one year to process the application. Does CIC ask to provide details/activities done during this period before making their final decision?

Or is the final decision completely based on the information provided at the time of the application?

Sometimes they do ask for updated information - it would have less to do with program eligibility and more regarding background, security, health, etc...

Can you please clarify little more, What do u mean by "info u provided at time of aplication"

Depending on how long it takes to process your application, they could possibly ask for new Police clearance certificates, as they are valid for one year from the date of issuing. I am saying this based on information I have read only, not on experience or having heard it happening to anyone.
