Does chc updates on ecas about the receptence of orignal passport for visa stamp

Good day to you,

Well i received passport request, photo specification and updated chart information on the last week of january 2012. I have already dispatched the passport for visa stamping.Does chc gives any acknowledgement on the receptence of passport. How can i know that the passport has reached there?. I am a london applicant.How long does chc take for visa stamping?

Did you receive your passport back now? I sent mine to London VO and received by them on Feb. 10, 2012 ans still waiting to receive back.

Dear parvathy,

CHC never update receipt of passports in your online status....................
you can write an conformation mail to them after 4 weeks you sent your passports.
CHC only updates you medical received and after that when they issue ur visa they will update your status as " Decision Made"
