Or do some candidates get it waived as well?

I should think there is some advantage in getting it waived as, from what I see, the most time wasted is during medicals being processed by New Delhi.

If PK candidates do get them waived sometimes, what is the criteria to aim for?

hi,
ever i never seen any approval case without medical.......however...medical is a big symbol of approval

are you sure abubakr?

these days the medical seems to be more of a hindrance than anything else (check out 'summer 2013 Pak' thread)

Medical test is mandatory when you apply for Canada. And yes, it has become annoying since the past month due to some confusion regarding whether medical test can be given without the need for original passport.

medical is not mandatory for visa approval, there is a option that you can write to Canada High Commission that you want to wait for your application to be decided and if your visa application is approved then you can undergo a medical............

Any Senior kindly tell me what tests are performed in Medical....specially in terms of Blood test. what are the tests performed with blood?
